The Tau as a promise of salvation
The Church of Santa Maria Annunziata in Borgo will host “Luce” by Giuseppe Menozzi from 9 to 30 October 2025. Promoted by the Rezza Foundation – Pro Cultura et Caritate and open daily 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., the exhibition presents works from the “Cycle of Light,” the latest stage in an organic pictorial journey the artist has developed through three distinct cycles: “The Horsemen of the Apocalypse,” “The Event,” and now the “Cycle of Light.”
The installation, conceived by Michele Crocitto, the artist’s curator and manager, is designed to foster contemplative viewing: the canvases enter into dialogue with the church’s sacred architecture, natural light, and liturgical silence, transforming the exhibition route into a contemplative itinerary that guides the visitor from the threshold toward the luminous centres of the compositions.
“We joyfully welcome the exhibition ‘Luce’ by Giuseppe Menozzi, an event promoted by the Rezza Foundation – Pro Cultura et Caritate to foster an authentic encounter between art and spirituality.
The Cycle of Light, guided by the sign of the Tau, offers visitors a path of contemplation that recalls the promise of salvation and the responsibility of personal choice.
Exhibiting these works in the Church of Santa Maria Annunziata in Borgo is an intentional choice to place Menozzi’s artistic language in dialogue with the sacred space and with the spiritual history that finds an echo here.
I invite everyone to visit the exhibition from 9 to 30 October 2025, to let themselves be moved by the light of the canvases and to rediscover the renewing value of art in community life.” (Msgr. Gervais)
