On Saturday, 25 October, at 4:00 p.m., the Church of Santa Maria Annunziata in Borgo will host an exceptional choral concert organized by the Rezza Foundation – Pro Cultura et Caritate. On stage: the Cantores Sanctae Mariae of the Church of Our Lady, London, a vocal ensemble specializing in Renaissance polyphony.
The program offers masterpieces of sacred tradition of the renaissance with the work of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Tomás Luis de Victoria, and William Byrd. Running in a sacred context, such as the church of”Annunziatina” create a natural dialogue between architecture, devotion, and sound, enhancing the purity of the tone of the choir and the density score of the tracks available.
